Serious Cricket 2015 Review

As we say goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016, we take a look back at what has been an extremely successful and busy 12 months at Serious Cricket:


January 2015 – We launched our brand new industry leading website which includes a bespoke team store builder


February 2015 saw the launch of our hugely popular Charlotte Edwards Batting Masterclass Course which was full of cricket enthusiasts of all ages.


March 2015 – Our Try Before You Buy equipment roadshow returned bigger and better than ever with NEW retailers and even more equipment to test in our first class cricket centre


April 2015 saw the end of another Serious Cricket Indoor League season with Yateley Cricket Club crowned Premier Division Champions


May 2015 – As the Serious Cricket Indoor League came to a close, the Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier Cricket League began with Henley CC pipped to the post by High Wycombe who took the 2015 Title.  


June 2015 was a landmark month for Serious with us surpassing 500 online team stores which now includes 6 counties


July 2015 saw Staxton CC crowned the Serious Cricket Club of the Month. It was a fantastic poetic entry that outlined the achievements of the club throughout the month of June which gave Staxton the nod over the competition. Throughout the month of July, Serious Cricket provided Staxton with £1000 worth of prizes in the form of personalised team kit, equipment, exclusive discounts and much more. 


August 2015 was hugely successful for 2 #teamserious sides. Cornwall County Cricket Club were crowned Unicorns Knockout Trophy Winners whilst Oxford County Cricket Club were crowned Unicorns Championship Western Division Champions.


September 2015 saw the launch of both the Gunn & Moore and Kookaburra 2016 ranges which have already proved hugely popular. They have now been joined by the new 2016 ranges from Gray Nicolls, Aero, Chase, Puma Masuri, Salix, Spartan, Asics, Hunts County, Ton, New Balance, Newbery and Adidas.


October 2015 – Serious Cricket announce a new two-year deal with Hampshire Cricket to become the official kit supplier of the club’s restructured player performance pathway squads.


November 2015 – Serious Cricket announce an exciting new partnership with the ECB’s NatWest U19 Club T20 initiative, becoming the competition’s Approved Teamwear & Equipment supplier.


December 2015 was a special month for Serious as we celebrated our 10th Birthday on December 10th. We also saw Berkshire Cricket extend their long standing partnership with Serious Cricket until 2019 as the official team wear supplier.
