COVID-19 Update

At Serious Cricket we are fully committed to the implementation of the latest Government guidelines with regards to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Given the current uncertainty, I wanted to let you know that our website, first-class cricket centre and shop remain open and operational for the time being. The safety of our staff and customers is our top priority and as such we have implemented the following measures:

Website & Warehouse
We are committed to getting your deliveries to you; our website and warehouse remain open with deliveries currently running as normal. Our warehouse works to strict health & safety and public health guidelines and our delivery partners are using contact-free methods to make sure that we are operating in the safest way possible.Finally, we are aware that the above may change as advice from the Government and World Health Organisation also changes. As we continue to navigate these challenging and uncertain times, we will endeavour to keep you all updated, as we react to any new directives.

Cricket Shop
The cricket shop remains open and all of our staff are fully aware of the current guidelines with enhanced hygiene measures in place. We ask that all visitors wash their hands upon arrival and departure and urge people to stay at home should they have either of the symptoms highlighted below.

1-2-1 Coaching, Net Hire & Social Distancing
We remain open for both 1-2-1 coaching sessions and net lane hire. However, if you are hiring a net lane the maximum number of people we are allowing per booking is 4. This will then create more space for all users, bearing in mind the 2 metre Government guideline.

We ask that all people wash their hands upon arrival and departure and urge people to stay at home should you have either:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

If you already have a booking and wish to cancel within our 48-hour cancellation policy, you can do so online via the 'my account' section on our website. Due to ongoing circumstances, we are allowing customers to cancel outside of our 48-hour cancellation period. To cancel within 48 hours of your booking, please call the office on 01256 398633. For all cancellations, a credit will be added to your account. 

Easter Cricket Courses and Arena Bookings
Following Government guidelines, we have had to cancel all Easter Coaching Courses and any Arena bookings until further notice. We will be contacting everyone who has made a booking and will be arranging credits to your account as soon as possible - please bear with us as we work through the list of bookings.
